Regulations on the Administration of Some Professional Access for International Students in China (Trial)

In order to improve the learning quality of overseas students in our school, To ensure that international students can successfully study their selected majors after entering professional courses, according to the document spirit of Quality Standards for Higher Education for International Students in China (Trial) promulgated by the Ministry of Education and Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Bachelor's Degree Awarding for Foreign Students in Xuzhou College of Technology (Trial) issued by our school, the access conditions for some majors are now formulated: 

1. International students who choose all majors in the Humanities College must pass the HSK6 test and obtain corresponding certificates, and pass the interview arranged by the Humanities College before they can study; 

2. International students who choose all majors in art colleges must pass the written examination and interview of independent enrollment arranged by art colleges, and the scores are qualified before they can study; 

3. International students who choose music-related majors in the School of Educational Sciences must pass the music professional test organized by the Musicology Teaching and Research Section, and the scores are qualified before they can study; 

4. International students who choose a major in the College of Physical Education must pass the physical fitness and professional skills tests organized by the College of Physical Education, and can only study after passing the scores; 

5. International students who choose the major of Foreign Languages College must take additional written test and interview. The written test content is the real English subject of China Higher Education Entrance Examination, which is tested under the joint supervision of Foreign Languages College and International Education College. The written test score must be higher than 100 points (150 points system) to be qualified for interview. The interview is assessed by the Foreign Languages College, and the score is qualified before you can study; 

6. If international students apply for a major in any secondary college, the secondary college can organize relevant tests, and they can only study after passing the test scores. 

This regulation is applicable to language students who have passed HSK4 level. The above tests will be conducted before the students enter the major. The test results are the only criterion for whether they can choose the major. International students who fail the tests are not allowed to choose the relevant majors of the above colleges. After the above tests are completed, the relevant process documents of test results shall be kept. 

These Regulations shall come into force as of the date of promulgation and shall be interpreted by SOE.
